What we do for our clients
We will complete a timely inspection and policy coverage review, if policy documents are available. We will then report the loss to the carrier as soon as possible.
Aid in Securing Property
Upon completion of the claim reporting, we will provide recommendations regarding procedures and/or carrier guideline implementation of damage mitigation.
We will obtain extensive documentation of the loss with photographs, moisture detection devices, thermal imaging equipment, boroscopic inspections, and/or the use of expert assignments (on an as needed basis with the approval of the property owner).
Completion of Estimate Package
We will complete an estimate package, which includes diagrams of the damaged property areas, photographs of damaged items, contents lists for personal property items, claim supports, and a detailed line item estimate in Exactimate 27.3 format. Our estimate package is the basis of the settlement, and the Aneosis package exceeds our competitors.
We will make recommendations and pursue settlement negotiations. We will keep the property owner apprised of all developments, and no settlement will be tendered without the owner’s approval.
Our adjusters have well-rounded experience from the independent / carrier side of adjusting process as well as that of public adjusting. Moreover, several of our adjusters are licensed investigators with legal adjusting and special investigative unit experience. As such, we are considered cause and origin industry experts. Because of this experience, we routinely have carrier denials rescinded without the necessity of litigation.
Statute of Limitations
Be aware that property owners have (5) years in Florida to file a claim. As such, it is not too late to re-open or file a new Hurricane Wilma or other wind claim. Many homeowners failed to file hurricane claims because they believed their premiums would increase or the carrier would drop them. However, homeowners’ insurance is regulated by the State of Florida
You may be entitled to a full roof replacement even if less than 25% of the total roof area is damaged from windstorm, hail, failing object, fire, etc.
